Topic - In the event of loss of keys or fobs.

There can be two events when a customer is locked out due to losing all keys and fobs, as follows.

Solution 1: This is the faster but more expensive option to avoid downtime of the bike. Since each new key fob needs programming to the VMS, the following parts need to be purchased:

Parts required:

- A new VMS

- 2 key fobs with two covers

- A steering lock and a battery lock with four keys

Instructions:

• Our workshop team will program the new fobs to the newly purchased VMS. Once programming is completed. 
• We will send an order with the programmed fobs, VMS, and steering/battery lock. 
• Once the order is delivered, The dealer will need to fit the new VMS and the steering/battery locks.

Cost Incurred:

The prices for the parts and labor are standard.

Solution 2: This is the regular process, which will lead to a downtime of approximately a week, but it is the cheaper option. The following parts need to be purchased:

Parts required:

- 2 key fobs with two covers

- A steering lock and a battery lock with four keys

Instructions:

• Upon reporting the issue by the dealer, a reference ticket will be created and provided to the dealer. 
• They will need to send out the existing VMS to our workshop using the given reference number on the courier. 
• Once the VMS is received, the new key fobs will be programmed to it. 
• Once programming is completed, we will send two newly programmed key fobs along with the VMS and a new steering/battery lock, which can be installed once the order is delivered.

Parts required:

- 2 key fobs with two covers

- A steering lock and a battery lock with four keys

Instructions:

When the bike is not in security mode, it would need new fobs, covers, and locks. The new fobs can be paired via the app, and the new steering and battery lock's installed.
